The 2020 YSC Tour de Pink rides have been canceled due to the ongoing health risks posed by COVID-19.
Read CEO Jennifer Merschdorf's full statement here.

    To TdP Riders & Supporters

As a member of the YSC Tour de Pink family, I want to personally inform you we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Tour de Pink rides. The full statement can be found here and a list of questions we anticipate you’ll have are located on the FAQ page here.

As of today, the most current research indicates that we may face yet another wave of COVID-19 infections this fall. Great uncertainty remains around the safety of gathering in larger numbers, the contagiousness of asymptomatic people, the reinfection possibilities of those that have contracted COVID-19, and the timeline of effective treatment and immunizations.

I understand how heartbroken you are by this news. YSC cannot risk the possibility of infection among our TdP community, many of whom are in active treatment, managing long-term side effects or living with metastatic disease.

As a part of this community, you know first hand that the YSC Tour de Pink is an event about resiliency, strength and love for others. We hope that even with this terrible news, all of you will continue to support each other and work together to ensure our community is safe and supported.

We are already looking to the future. We hope to host in-person Tour de Pink rides in 2021 and believe that we will come back together, stronger than ever, next year.

Please take care of yourselves and each other.

    Jennifer Merschdorf
    Chief Executive Officer
