It's Not Pretty and It's Not Pink: YSC Breast Cancer Awareness Month 

Today we launch a special campaign that will feature 31 stories highlighting 31 young survivors and the unique struggles they have faced due to their breast cancer diagnosis. Help spread the word that young women can get breast cancer!!!  Share today’s & everyday’s story on your own Facebook page, leave a message of support and sign the petition asking the President to end breast cancer by 2020! 

You Are Not Alone Event: October 16, 7PM

Join other newly diagnosed young women, supporters and survivors for a breast cancer awareness month social at Doin' Dishes in Montclair. RSVP to Naomi.

Educational Event: November 5, 7PM

Join Dale Bellisfield, RN, AHG as she speaks with our community at Montclair Breast Center. There is much we can do simply through our food choices to help strengthen our breast health. Certain foods protect against, intervene during, and reduce breast cancer recurrence.  In this lively talk, you will understand the many foods that can impact breast cancer cell development, for better and worse. And why. We will also help clarify the soy, fat, dairy and other dietary concerns regarding breast cancer and its treatment. Enjoy a sampling of delicious organic white tea, one of the many helpful cancer-protective choices. 7PM at Montclair Breast Center in Montclair. RSVP to Naomi.
